Survey Finds Entrepreneurs Confident in Starting and Sustaining Business in Northeast Ohio

A recent study of about 280  entrepreneurs in Northeast Ohio finds optimistic outlook for the region for both starting businesses and sustaining businesses in Northeast Ohio. (Click on chart for bigger view.)

This is the third year of the study. One difference of note from last year’s survey: the confidence of the “imagining entrepreneur” was significantly lower this year than last year in regards to sustaining a business. This is in sharp contrast to the opinions of entreprenuers in later stages of business development.

The research findings were prepared by David O. Kasdan Center for Economic Development, Maxine Goodman Levin College of Urban Affairs, Cleveland State University in Partnership with JumpStart Inc. Support was provided by U.S. Department of Commerce and Economic Development Administration.
