Artist Deborah Shapiro’s work showcased at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport

Magazine collage artist from the Akron area has artwork on display at the Cleveland’s Airport.

Bath, OH (September 15, 2017) – Bath Township artist, Deborah Shapiro, has several works on display at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport  for the Expressions of Imagination Art Exhibit located in the Public Gallery near the entrance of Concourse A,  from September 1, 2017 through January 31, 2018.

Expressions of Imagination Exhibit showcases artwork from several artists that were selected by an artists’ review panel of the CLE Art Program.  The program’s purpose is to highlight the diversity of arts and culture throughout Northeast Ohio.  According to Ms. Shapiro, “I feel truly honored to have my works chosen and be featured among other very talented artists and photographers.” She continues, “It’s been a fun experience so far.  I get such a kick out people who have contacted me from other states because they’ve seen the exhibit.  This program is really a wonderful opportunity for local artists.”  The exhibit can be viewed online at http://www.clevelandairport.com/airport/cle-art-program/temporary-exhibits/public-gallery-expressions-imagination

Deborah Shapiro is a collage artist from Bath, Ohio who creates her works by using torn bits of magazines as her paint.  Her main subjects include animals and experiences from her life.  She can be found online at deborahshapiroart.com and at several art festivals throughout the year.
