BATH, OH, (November 3, 2017) – ThinOPTICS salutes military families by making a donation to the Fisher House Foundation in support of their military themed eyeglasses, which includes artwork from Akron artist Deborah Shapiro.
Shapiro’s Flag collage was selected to be a part of the collection, which was curated with the help of 1000’s of users who served in the military. According to Deborah, “I’m very honored to be a part of this. I have family members who have served in the Army and Navy, so the fact that a donation will be made to military families makes this very special to me.”
Every year, ThinOPTIC’s salutes U.S. service members, veterans, and their families for Military Appreciation Month and Veteran’s Day with a donation to a charity. This year Fisher House Foundation was selected, which provides a home away from home for families of patients receiving medical care at military and VA medical centers. Along with the donation, military members will receive a 20% discount as an appreciation for their service.
