How to Submit News to Northeast Ohio News

We will accept news of interest to the business professionals and residents of Northeast Ohio. Just leave a reply by clicking on the submit link at the end of a news story on the Northeast Ohio News main page.

Submission Guidelines

EVENT: To include your event on NEOhio News, please provide the following:

  • Your name, phone number and email.
  • Organization sponsoring event
  • Reason for event
  • When (Day and Time
  • Where it will be held
  • Who to contact for more information/RSVP

NEWS RELEASE: To include your new product information, service offering or business announcement on NE Ohio News, please include use a standard news release format:

Title:  Subject -Active Verb – “what”
Subtitle: Active Verbs. Additional Key Phrases
City, State: Somewhere in NEOhio or about an organization headquartered in NE Ohio
Date: Date you want on the news, not necessarily the day the news happened.
Information: Use inverted pyramid style of who what when where… why and how.
Contact Info: Your name, phone and email for more information.

 

Formatting Info

  1. Write or copy your information into Wordpad, Notepad or another text editor. (Word has formatting that needs to be removed and may slow down the posting.)
  2. Double check your facts. 
  3. Highlight and copy the text.
  4. Click on the submit link at the end of a news story on the Northeast Ohio News main page.
  5. Paste text.  Please include contact information for verification purposes.
