STOW, Ohio – The Stow Police Department has released a comprehensive weekly report log detailing 32 records of criminal activity and enforcement actions ending March 10, 2026 . The report highlights a significant focus on narcotics arrests , with officers busy interdicting drug possession and trafficking offenses across the city . In addition to drug enforcement, the department addressed a surge in retail theft and several dangerous driving incidents involving alcohol impairment . Narcotics Arrests and Drug Law Enforcement A primary focus for officers this week was the enforcement of narcotics arrests and drug-related statutes . On March 3, an arrest was made for possession of schedule I or II substances on Graham Road . This was followed by an arrest on March 4 at the intersection of SR 8 and Graham Road, where an individual was charged with possession of cocaine and illegal use of drug paraphernalia . Furthermore, a long-term investigation into trafficking in drugs on Orchard Drive was closed on March 5, involving the sale or offer to sell controlled substances . A final drug-related arrest occurred on March 9 on Kent Road . Retail Theft and Shoplifting Incidents Retail locations on Kent Road were the primary sites for shoplifting and theft investigations throughout the week . Officers made an arrest for theft without consent on March 3 at a business on Kent Road . A shoplifting arrest was executed on March 4 at another Kent Road location . On March 4, a second shoplifting incident led to an arrest at a separate address on Kent Road . On March 7, a warrant was issued for a theft shoplifting case on Kent Road, while another theft was reported earlier that afternoon on the same street . OVI and Public Safety Citations Roadway safety remained a concern as the department processed multiple OVI charges . Late on March 6, an arrest was made at the intersection of Commerce Drive and Hudson Drive for operating a vehicle under the influence and driving in marked lanes, with the suspect testing over .08 on a breathalyzer . A similar arrest occurred on March 7 involving another breath test over .08 and lane violations . By March 8, a third OVI case was documented on Norton Road, which remains pending prosecution . Bad Checks: A fraud report involving passing bad checks was filed on February 27 regarding an incident on Chesterland Boulevard . Identity Fraud: On March 7, officers investigated an identity fraud case on Lake Point Court where a person’s information was used without consent . Domestic Violence: A domestic incident on Kent Road on March 4 led to an arrest for knowingly causing physical harm .
