Legacy Village Lands Three New Restaurant Concepts in Lyndhurst
Business & Commerce — Lyndhurst
Legacy Village in Lyndhurst is welcoming three new restaurants — EVOO (upscale Greek-Mediterranean), The Legacy, and Shinto's third location — filling spaces left by California Pizza Kitchen, Bar Louie, and Granite City.
Legacy Village, the outdoor lifestyle center in Lyndhurst, is emerging as one of Northeast Ohio's hottest restaurant destinations with three new dining concepts confirmed for 2026 openings. EVOO, an upscale Greek-Mediterranean restaurant by the Cleveland Restaurant Group, is taking over the approximately 5,000-square-foot former California Pizza Kitchen space. The restaurant will feature a menu centered on Greek and Mediterranean cuisine with an emphasis on high-quality ingredients and refined presentations. EVOO is expected to open in the first quarter of 2026. The Legacy, a sister restaurant from the same Cleveland Restaurant Group ownership, will occupy the former Bar Louie space. Details on the concept are still emerging, but the restaurant is expected to open in the first half of 2026. Shinto, the popular Japanese restaurant, is opening its third Northeast Ohio location in the former Granite City space. Owner Sheng Long Yu has built a loyal following at Shinto's existing locations, and the Legacy Village outpost will bring the restaurant's sushi, ramen, and Japanese-inspired dishes to the east side suburbs. A winter 2026 opening is planned. The three restaurant signings represent a significant vote of confidence in Legacy Village's future as a dining destination. The center had seen several restaurant departures in recent years as national chains retreated from the market. Legacy Village's management has been actively courting locally owned restaurant concepts to fill the vacancies, a strategy that reflects broader trends in retail real estate toward experiential tenants that drive foot traffic and repeat visits. The new restaurant cluster is expected to complement Legacy Village's existing retail and dining mix, which includes both national brands and regional favorites.
