During this period, officers navigated multiple reports of identity theft, neighborhood disputes, and mental health interventions across the city. ## Recent Aurora Police Reports Involving Fraud and Theft Financial crimes were a significant focus for the department in late March. On March 18, a victim reported a check fraud incident that occurred at a credit union in Garfield Heights. Another resident on Walnut Ridge Trail contacted the station on April 1 to report that an unauthorized credit card had been opened in her name and delivered to her residence.
