SAGAMORE HILLS, Ohio – Between March 7 and March 8, 2026, the Sagamore Hills Police Department responded to three distinct calls involving a suspected fatal overdose on Greenwood Parkway, a station-house inquiry regarding a protection order, and a physical altercation involving staff at a residential facility on West Aurora Road . These incidents required coordination with local rescue squads to ensure the safety of residents in the Northeast Ohio area . Officers Investigate Fatal Overdose on Greenwood Parkway On Saturday, March 7, 2026, at approximately 3:47 p.m., Sagamore Hills officers were dispatched to a multiple-dwelling unit on Greenwood Parkway for a report of a possible overdose . Upon arrival, police assisted the rescue squad in attending to a 33-year-old male victim . The incident was officially classified as a “DOA and Body Found” . Four officers, including Christina Meyers, Dan DeCrane, Robert Patterson, and Victoria Miavitz, remained on the scene until 5:05 p.m. to conduct the initial investigation and secure the premises . Assistance Provided Regarding Protection Order Later that same evening, at 7:42 p.m., a female resident arrived at the Sagamore Hills Police Department on Valley View Road to consult with officers regarding a protection order . The report, filed as “Information Only,” documented her concerns regarding a Temporary Protection Order (TPO) . Officers Ryan Ennis and Terrance Wilson Jr. handled the inquiry, and the resident was provided with the necessary information before the report was cleared at 8:23 p.m. . Disturbance at The Reserve at Brentwood Early Sunday morning on March 8, 2026, Sagamore Hills police were called to The Reserve at Brentwood on West Aurora Road following reports of a patient becoming physical with staff members . Dispatched at 5:47 a.m., officers Robert Patterson, Dan DeCrane, and Christina Meyers arrived within five minutes to assist the rescue squad and stabilize the situation . The scene was cleared at 6:58 a.m. after officers ensured that the facility staff were no longer in any immediate danger .
